Have you heard the beautiful Lisa Gerrard sing? I bet you have but you might not have actually known it!
She is an Irish-Australian musician, singer and composer.Gerrard received a Golden Globe Award for the music score for the film Gladiator, on which she collaborated with Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt. Her voice is haunting and has been described as "distinctive, floating effortlessly between sepulchral and heavenly, and often featuring the yangqin (Chinese dulcimer)....electronica with a Middle-Eastern spice, laced with an octave-defying, operatic voice."
Please enjoy listening to Now We Are Free - The Theme from Gladiator.

I am now supposed to share some information about myself....hmmm....well....
I am a Boar according to the Chinese Zodiac! According to this site I am self-reliant, sociable, dependable, and extremely determined. Boars hate arguments, tense situations, and try to bring both sides together. We make deep and long-lasting friendships and we enjoy social gatherings of all kinds, and look for parties to attend. In fact, apparently Boars must watch themselves so that their incessant pursuit of pleasure doesn't interfere with other aspects of their lives. Boars always listen to problems. They won't mind getting involved and try to help. Boars also have big hearts.
Well, I think that just about sums me up! How amazing!
I am going to go and see what they say about hubby's zodiac animal, the RAM!
Best wishes for a beautiful week,
Natasha In Oz

Hi Natasha, thank you for the award. I had never heard of it yet! Such a cute one... I'm very honored!
Sending a huge hug your way. Enjoy the season, Autumn with all those beautiful colors. I'm still waiting for the buds to burst out! xoxo
Hi Natasha,
Nice to have you back. Being a substitute teacher is very hard. I have "semi-retired" myself from teaching due to a work accident. I miss it so much but its very difficult while we are still raising a family of our own. I remember how I felt not being able to attend special functions at my child's school. I could not be at "meet the teacher night" because I was hosting the same thing in my class. I felt so guilty. I would often spend all my Sundays marking and preparing and I cant count the number of colds I caught from the students. So I fully understand your comments. Re-reading some of my posts I can see that I am still somewhat writing lesson plans...You know, intro, body, conclusion...I have to laugh at myself. Thank you for the award, its my first and thank you for the recommendation. Its very much appreciated! Love those roses your husband bought you. How sweet is he? I'm off to listen to Ms. Lisa. I hope it does not make me cry. It does not take much. Best regards,
Anne-Marie
Thank you so much for your kind words today. It means so much. I'm sorry you had a stressful week. The roses are beautiful, what a wonderful husband you have! I really enjoyed the music, I hadn't heard it before.
