Long live the Queen.

Hello dear friends. Welcome to Natasha In Oz!

A history teacher friend of mine emailed this to me yesterday and I just wanted to share it with you too. Perhaps you have already seen these amazing images before? If so I hope you enjoy having a look at them again!

Queen Elizabeth II took the throne at a 27 and her 59-year reign is currently the second-longest for a British monarch. Isn't it amazing to see how she has changed through the years?

Bush Jr
Clinton
Bush
Reagan
Carter
Ford
Nixon
Kennedy
Eisenhower

Truman

Long live the Queen, as they say!

Best wishes always,

  1. Wow! Amazing to think that she's been there throughout all those Presidents and, likewise, all the Prime Ministers that she has seen and go in this Country! She's pretty good I would say for 85 ! Warmest wishes to you.

  21. saw you over on a Pink Saturday post and had to come by and say hi while you're on the blog. Did you come back? Interesting photos - looking at the Queen over the years. I love the one w/Reagan, b/c of Reagan's genuine laughter - but she's sure "gussied up" in that one isn't she? Take care, Jenn

  23. What a great post Natasha. I love seeing her in all of those photos. It's nice to remember that she wasn't always so somber. What a beautiful girl she was, and I think that she is very cut now.

  34. That was fun, Natasha. Thanks for putting that together. I viewed her dresses on display at Buckingham Palace and it was so interesting. They were displayed on true to her size at the time mannequins.

Our temperature was 97 today and we are in high drought alert.
