A #SundaySong, A New Baby and Two Birthdays!

Well, this was truly an amazing weekend.....

My niece Maisie was born Saturday the 17th!

Happy Birth-Day Maisie!

My daughter Maddy and my sister Stacey also celebrated their birthdays on the 18th!

Happy Birthday Maddy and Stacey!

December is such a fun month for our family!

Here are few happy snaps from our busy weekend that I would love to share with you!

Welcome to the world sweet little Maisie!

Isn't she a sweetie!

With everything that is happening in our family and with Christmas literally only days away, I think that now is probably a good time to sign off for the year. I would like to thank you for your kindness, friendship, comments, emails and support over the last 12 months. I feel so blessed to have met such truly wonderful people through blogging. Thank you so much!

May the gifts of love, peace and happiness be yours at Christmas.

When A Child Is Born

A ray of hope flickers in the sky
A tiny star lights up way up high
All across the land dawns a brand new morn
This comes to pass when a child is born

A silent wish sails the seven seas
The winds of change whisper in the trees
And the walls of doubt crumble tossed and torn
This comes to pass, when a child is born

A rosy hue settles all around
You got the feel, you're on solid ground
For a spell or two no one seems forlorn
This comes to pass, when a child is born

Spoken: And all of this happens, because the world is waiting.
Waiting for one child; Black-white-yellow, no one knows...
but a child that will grow up and turn tears to laughter,
hate to love, war to peace and everyone to everyone's neighbor,
and misery and suffering will be words to be forgotten forever.

It's all a dream and illusion now,
It must come true sometime soon somehow,
All across the land dawns a brand new morn,
This comes to pass when a child is born.

Warmest thoughts and best wishes for a wonderful holiday and a very happy 2012!

Prayers needed please!

I'm sorry that this week's Say G'Day Saturday Linky party is not quite ready yet but today we found out that my sister Holly is finally in labour!

This picture was taken a couple of days ago...on the day that Holly found out that bubs had turned herself around and was not only posterior but she decided to lay on her side! Poor Holly was supposed to have an induction the next day but that couldn't happen as it would be too dangerous.

Today my cheeky little niece has decided that she is going to take her time to make her grand entrance! Holly went into labour this morning but still nothing has happened!

Holly is getting a well-deserved massage from Maddy.

As soon as I hear some news I will be back to regular posting! In the meantime, I am sure that Holly and John would really appreciate your thoughts and prayers at this stressful time!

Come on little one...hurry up!

Best wishes,
Natasha In Oz

Say G'Day Saturday Linky Party ~ Christmas Tablescapes!

Hello dear friends! I'm so happy that you have dropped by to visit me in my little corner of the world Down Under today. I hope you have all been enjoying the first week of December. We have had a great week so far as my kids are now on Summer vacation! We have been baking, relaxing and catching up with our family.

Happy Birthday Johnny!

I have also been having lots of fun decorating our kitchen and dining room for Christmas!

I have nearly finished decorating but I am not quite sure what to do for our Christmas table.

I have tried a few ideas for the table....

I still have to work on how to dress up our table for Christmas meals...

What do you think about these ideas?
