Hello sweet friends! Welcome to Natasha in Oz and my little corner of the world Down Under. Welcome also to this week's Say G'Day Saturday Linky party!
This year we are hosting Mother's Day at our house so this week I have been busy trying to find ideas for gifts, recipes and decorations for the party. I have been pinning like crazy and wanted to share a few ideas with you today.
Fill a white ceramic pot with the glass pebbles, adding sticker letters to spell "Mother" to six of the pebbles. Arrange the letter pebbles at the front of the flower pot, then insert a few faux hydrangea stems to finish. Via BHG
I love this idea-the grandkids could easily write their thoughts about why they love their grandma and then the strips of paper are put in a jar. Tie a bow around the jar to make it pretty! Via BHG
This button bouquet looks like a fun project for the kids. They need to stack the buttons, then thread florist's wire through the button holes in each stack to secure them, wrap the wires around each other to connect the buttons and form the main stem...cute-as-a-button! Via BHG
This accordion photo booklet is so sweet. Via BHG
Have you posted anything about Mother's Day on your blog? Maybe you posted about some great Mother's Day ideas last year? If you have I would love to know if you have any suggestions!
If you would like to share your Mother's Day ideas I would love it if you could add them to the Mother's Day board I have created on Pinterest.
Why should you pin your ideas on my Mother's Day board I hear you ask...well, let me tell you!
Group boards on Pinterest are the BEST way to reach a wider audience and therefore bring more traffic to your blog!
There are so many benefits of joining Pinterest collaboration boards!
- The first benefit is that new people will discover you when they check out your boards or repin you.
- You will also find that there is maximum exposure to other Pinterest users that you may have not met.
- The board can potentially be promoted via social networks likeTwitter, Facebook, Google+ . this could result in new followers and you know what that means....
- That's right, it will bring more traffic to your blog and that means growth!
- The best part about it is that you can meet the other collaborators, and follow them. My Mother's Day board already has 3360 followers, so it can can quickly help all of us build and nurture new friendships and new partnerships!
So, if you would like to pin some of your ideas to my Mother's Day board just leave me a comment or send me an email and I will invite you. I hope you can help me plan the perfect Mother's Day party for my family!
