I am having such a great time posting and reading blogs....Big Al, Maddy and Mr Attorney all think that I am addicted to blogging! Maybe I am .....yes...I definitely am!
I am in awe of the amazing things that people can do, the stunning pictures that people take and the endless creativity of the talented bloggers from all around the world. I just love looking at the blog Between Naps on the Porch and today I am taking part in Tablescape Thursday. Today I had my parents and sister over for a light lunch and they kindly helped me design and execute my very first tablescaping attempt. What fun we had- I even had some input from my dad who isn't even normally into this kind of thing at all. So, here is my Beachy and Summery luncheon tablescape!
Thanks so much for visiting today and I hope you will stop by and say g'day again soon.

ReplyDeleteWelcome to TT!
ReplyDeleteWhat a calm, cool looking table! You can never go wrong with pink & green in my book. :D
I like the little touch of a different sea shell at each place setting, too.
I've been too sick with the flu to participate this week but I hope to see you & I both at next week's gathering.
Love the colors and the shells. How fun for your first TT. I'm going to try it next week. Thanks for sharing and hope you're back next week.

ReplyDeleteI'll have to try a tablescape one of these days............ Yours is amazing !
Love your pink and white table.
ReplyDeleteOh what a lovely tablescape. I really love the use of the palm leafs as the centerpiece. Such a great idea and so dramatic. Your wicker placemats and coasters along with all the gorgeous shells are so pretty against the dark wood of the table. Your china is beautiful. I think for your first TT you have really created a beautiful and professionally done table. Love it.. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI really love the vibrant pink with the crisp, clean palette of white! Love the seashells on napkins! The pie/quiche looks good too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me and inviting me to visit you. I will be back!

Very pretty ! I'm loving the hot pink napkins.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job for your first attempt. It was my second week playing along, and I am in such awe of the tables I'm seeing. It is nice to see something different than our fall colors. I love the sea and have a house full of shells and palms, even though I'm not near an ocean. You table really appeals to me.

This is one of my favorite color combinations! I think the best part is that it was a fun "group" effort. I love your quote in your banner--very true!
ReplyDeleteOh my I really love your beach table with the white and the shells and then that great splash of color in the napkin!! Very nice girl! You really created a lovely scape!!
ReplyDeleteLovely hot pink with white and green tablescape. Very fresh and fun with the seashells.

ReplyDeleteYou are my first contact from "Down Under"! I've never been, but my DH has many times.
I see that you like pink... and being that it is Spring (?) for you I would like to share these two posts.
This one is full of pink. Losts of pretty "faux food goodies".

Everywhere I go now, even if it's just to the grocery store or drug store, I'm on the lookout for anything that might make a cute tablescape. I think my husband thinks I am a little coo coo, but that's okay with me! Congratulations on your first and very beautiful tablescape. Can't wait to see what you do next time.
