The kids and I are still having fun decorating the house for the Christmas holidays so I just wanted to post some pictures that have inspired me when decorating this year.

Gorgeous images Natasha - very inspiring too....and also I just wanted to say 'welcome' and thank your for joining my (very little!) band of merry followers! xx
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful Natasha! My littlest one spontaneously put Christmas carols on last night and I got teary. Christmas is so much more joyous in Aussie than it is here... You have given me a push to start the cheer!
ReplyDeleteHi Natasha. Your blog sparked a little excitement in me regarding Christmas...until now I've hardly had time to entertain the thought that it's nearly upon us. I must make a wreath this year. Please show us how the platter turns out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment re my profile pic. I was hesitant as I didn't want to spoil the illusion I may have created, haha, but I know how much I like to put a face to someone, like you said.
Have a fabulous weekend.
Angex
Hi Ange! My littlest one is constantly playing Human Nature singing Auld Lange Syne and Ella Fitzgerald! We are so ready for Christmas here!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, Natasha.
Please, never apologize for how you blog. IMHO, we all blog, as feels right to/for us.
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it, why would we do anything else?
Some really good ideas. Thanks for sharing:)
ReplyDeleteI love placing ornaments in bowls and using them as centerpieces. We have a box full of old ornaments from husband's grandmother, but there's not enough room on our tree. So, I fill beautiful crystal bowl with them. Easy and festive!
ReplyDeleteOoooh. I'm still in the 30-days of THanksgiving. But I peeked and oooooh some good ideas. I love the piano and the stackable plate thing (can't think of what it's called) w/the ornaments. I have a fold-out thing ... oh what ARE they called? Might try that. See ya next time, Jenn.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely holiday decor ideas! I really liked the velvet bow on the doorknob -- we have such great old doorknobs and iron rimlocks on our doors here; I think lovely bows would be just the thing for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet it will be the first time our doorknobs get all gussied up for Santa!
Thanks for visiting and leaving such a sweet comment! And I also agree with Jane -- one can never begin one's holiday weight gain too early. Let's all beat the rush!
have a lovely weekend!

ReplyDeleteGreat inspiration pictures - thanks for sharing. Happy Birthday. Thanks for visiting and to answer your question - the greenhouse is sort of hidden behind a dollhouse right now to make room for another project.
ReplyDeleteYour holiday pictures inspire me. I just arrived in London today where I hope to get some more inspiration for my blog and see some Christmas decorations. I adore you quote by Norman Vincent Peale--it is a magical time of the year, I agree.
