But

It's my Birthday today!

Welcome friends to Natasha in Oz! Thank you so much for visiting me in my little corner of the blogging world today!

When the Melbourne Cup race was on last week, we let the kids place a $5 bet and A's horse came second. We gave him $40 and he was over the moon. He has since been looking for every opportunity to waste spend it. He spent a bit of it at the school tuckshop but he still has about $34 dollars left so decided to buy a toy with it on the weekend.

This is what he did with his money....Today is my Birthday.

A knows how much I love Christmas so he wrote me a Christmas tree shape-poem about Mums. He also knew that I really wanted to see the Christmas Carol movie on the weekend so he is using his toy money to take the family to see "A Christmas Carol"...

Yes indeed, words failed me when I read this beautiful poem and card.

Thank you Big Al for making your Mum so proud and happy on her Birthday. I love you too!

Best wishes until next time,
Natasha In Oz
