After a nice and relaxing weekend I am ready for a fabulous new week. Isn't it amazing what a little rest can do to lift one's spirit!
My relaxing weekend started on Friday night. The kids were so happy because they didn't have to do any homework, Hubby was happy because the football season has finally started and I was happy because, well, I was just happy!
I had such a lovely evening sipping wine, talking to my family and relaxing by candlelight.
While the kids and hubby were watching their favourite shows on TV, I spent some time reading a coffee-table book that I made on snapfish.com. It was so nice to look at pictures of our family vacation in Europe.
I also read some magazines! I LOVE reading magazines, especially house and garden magazines.
I also love making picture collages of some of the blue things in my home so that I can join in with Mary's Mosaic Monday, Smiling Sally's Blue Monday and Cielo's Show off your Cottage Monday!
After such a lovely weekend I am ready to face the week with a smile on my face! Yay for Mondays!
Happy Monday!
Thanks for visiting today and for spending time with me in my little corner of the world Down Under. I love it when my beautiful blogging friends stop by-your visits make my day!

ReplyDeleteNatasha,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog the other day. Don't you just love making those coffee table books? I think I have a picture of the same beefeater from a trip my husband and I made to London last November.
Come visit me again soon.

Hello Natasha
ReplyDeletePleased to hear you had a relaxing weekend, the book open on the Beefeater at the Tower, I shall be near there over the Easter weekend, on HMS Belfast!!
Lovely coasters, I don't drink but I am sure that helped you relax and the perfumed candles burning.
Looking forward to receiving the package when it arrives.
Have a good week, Jackie in UK.
Great images from you home - sounds like you had a lovely weekend. I caught up on rest as well. It's so great to feel recharged at the beginning of the new week!
ReplyDeleteWonderful post.
ReplyDeleteJust popping in to say have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Heidi
Sounds delightful and thanks for the award. I will share and forward soon. You are so very sweet to give it too me.

I love your picture collage. They are beautiful. I felt I was there smelling your candles and tasting the wine LOL. I'm also addicted to magazines on gardening. Cant wait for the garden to thaw out. Happy Monday to you too. Regards. Anne-Marie
ReplyDeletePhoto books are such a great idea -- and a very compact way of saving memories. My brother and sister-in-law are making photo books of their son's art and school work each year, which I think is a brilliant way of capturing the highlights (and then disposing of all the papers).
ReplyDeletePretty, relaxing, inviting pictures, Natasha. I like how you've put a tea light in the bottom teacup. Is that a Johnson Bros. pattern, btw? Happy Blues~
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. You made me smile, and like this Monday, too. Love the candle on the silver tray.
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful mosaic! lovely photos indeed!

ReplyDeleteJeanne:)
Hi Jeanne,
ReplyDeleteMary, who hosts Mosaic Monday, told us about Big Huge Labs.com and it is so much fun! I make all of my collages there.
Happy week,
Natasha.
Way to go, Natasha!
ReplyDeleteAll of us need to give ourselves a little permission to treat ourselves to some "me" time. Sounds like you had a great "getaway."
Debi
So pretty! Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteI am envious Natasha! I can't remember the last time I had such a wonderful night like you had! I can only enjoy it if my house is clean, and that hasn't happened for quite a bit!!!
