But

Bathroom Beauty Snapper!

Hello sweet friends. Welcome to Natasha In Oz!

I am sure many of you know about Sheila from Note Songs who has a thing about taking pictures in front of mirrors...she is the original Bathroom Beauty Snapper!

My sisters and I decided a while ago that we too would take a picture of ourselves for our blog (Here is a link to the first post that we did.) We thought, how hard could it be to take a picture of yourself in front of a mirror?

Well, let me tell you, it's very hard! For a start I kept looking at the wrong place all the time.....

Then I started giggling....

Right, time to get serious....

Nearly there...one more try.....

This is it! This is the one I like!

Phew that was hard work!

Well, guess what? We have done it all again for Sheila's

Please click here to see our second attempt!

If you would like to see more Bathroom Beauty Snappers head on over to Sheila's blog-she is throwing a great party and you won't want to miss it!

Thanks for having me Sheila and thanks for dropping in today sweet friends! See you on Sunday for a

Sunday Song!

Best wishes,
Natasha In Oz

  6. You are right - It is so hard to get a picture of yourself in the mirror! I've tried and I always feel ridiculous and never end up with anything very good. But you did a great job - you look great!

  15. ...and that's the one that caught my eye Natasha. Good for you girl. How's the weather in Brisbane today? It's probably warmer than here in Canada. Yesterday was nice and hot, tonight it's going to snow. Go figure. Nice to see you again.

  24. Hello! Thank you for visiting me!
This is the most clever post I've seen in a while! Don't some of those pantries just make you drool? :)
The problem with pantries is . . . KIDS! They mess them up! :)
    Have a great weekend!!!

  25. Natasha, you are the prettiest thing. It is not easy to take your own pic in a mirror. I too kept looking down at the camera. When I did try to keep my eyes open, I looked like I was scared to death. HA!
    Love your post.
    Happy Diva Day.
    Hugs, Jeanne

  26. Natasha, you are so pretty, and I love your hair style. Wonder if I would have to come there to get that hair cut! I really thought this picture in the mirror would be easy, but you are soooo right - it's a lot harder than it looks! laurie

  27. Natasha, you are too cute and I do love your haircut. I was going to do this party, but have been soooo busy. My haircut is somewhat like yours. My bangs are longer though. Have a great mother's day.

  30. Hilarious -- takes me back to early Facebook days.

On another note Natasha -- I've noticed some blogs have music that plays automatically -- do you know how to set this up? I would like to have one of our more lyrical pieces play when someone happens onto our blog.

Of course if you have any tips on how I can get more visitors -- please! I fear I may be missing some rare subtlety in this Blogger world that gets others to notice us
    Thanks,Holly
