But

My first Pink Saturday!

We have been very lucky here in Brisbane lately. Last weekend we had a long weekend due to a Public Holiday on Monday to celebrate ANZAC Day (I posted about it here and here )

This weekend we have another public holiday on Monday for Labour Day, a day that acknowledges the fight by workers for an 8 hour working day.

This long weekend we have lots of things planned....long walks, pottering around in the garden, visiting an Antique market and going out for lunch somewhere as a family.

Hooray for long weekends!

This morning, my daughter Maddy, decided that she wanted to make smoothies for us all for Breakfast...they were so delicious....and very pink!

There is nothing like breakfast on the deck on a sunny Autumn morning!

Even Big Al who normally dislikes anything pink enjoyed a glass!

Thank you Miss Maddy for making yummy pink smoothies for breakfast!

What a great way to start our long weekend!

Thank you also to sweet Beverly from How Sweet The Sound for having me today!

Best wishes, dear friends, for a beautiful and pink May Day weekend and please come back on Sunday to listen to my #SundaySong!
