This week I have been busy trying to do a bit of a tidy up of my cupboards so that I can show you where I keep my kitchen "stuff!" I don't really have too many dishes so my home tour shouldn't take too long!

Our every day dishes are Spode Blue Italian Transferware and I keep them in a drawer in our kitchen.
My 2nd set of dishes are our Christmas dishes which are kept on the bottom shelf of the cupboard where we keep our everyday mugs and glasses.
Our Wedding china, Noritake Château, is kept in our antique Chinese sideboard which is in our dining area. Later on I would love to show you my very first Tablescape using this china.
I also keep platters and other dishes in this sideboard.
One of my favourite storage ideas is found in our kitchen. When we renovated our kitchen I made sure we used every available space to store things. This is where I keep my slow cooker, sandwich press, food processor and hand held blender. I love this cupboard!
I also made sure that my silverware could be stored neatly.
My tea towels have their own special drawer, right next to my knife block...only small visitors who love drying dishes will find the sharp knives! I think I am safe!
Some of my sweet bloggy friends have seen my pantry but if you haven't seen my Pantry and Tupperware collection just click here!
The original post can be found here. It was nearly Summer here in Australia when I first started blogging so since it is nearly Summer in the Northern Hemisphere, I thought it might be nice to share my tablescape again today!
I will end this home tour with a Tune...A shameless plug for my Tuesday Tune meme that I host each weekend. If you would like to join in and share your favourite music please do!

Formed in 1995, they spent much of their early career Touring small towns and universities. They didn't come to the attention of the international community until they made an appearance at the Eurovision Grand Prix de la Chanson in Kiel, Germany. The Ten Tenors' ability to mix classical, rock, and opera with a distinctly Australian flair has resulted in award-winning Albums like One Is Not Enough, Larger Than Life, Tenology, and 2006's Here's to the Heroes.
I hope you enjoy their version of Il Gladiatore.
Please join me each weekend for the Say G'day Saturday Linky Party!
Natasha, Tell me where I can get those plate holder things for my drawers. I think my life would be complete if I had those. I also love all your plates and china. Actually I liked everything you showed in this post. Gorgeous. xx

Love the tablescape too.
GORGEOUS.
xx
Ok Natasha...I am going to have to start posting my songs to your meme. I don't know if you have seen my music blog, Songs of Home, but you might like some of my music. I actually usually post my songs on Sundays as they are devotional or family oriented or just about life in general. I've been writing since I was 11. What a neat idea!
ReplyDeleteYour photos of your tablescapes are AWESOME! I love them. The diningroom table using shells as napkin weights is my favorite. So pretty!
PS. I took pix this morning for a post for Thursday where I explain tablescapes to my readers and just took some extra photos today. I felt like Monday I just didn't explain what I'd learned from Maria Killam clearly enough. I got lots of questions about my thrift store finds too. It will be posted on Thursday..so I guess I can join that group too. How fun!
You have everything so neat and organized! I love those dish drawers.
ReplyDeleteHi Natasha!
ReplyDeleteEverything is so neat and organized! Great job with that. Very pretty dishes as well~!

ReplyDeleteDD
Fun to see where you store your dishes! Wasn't it good of The Tablescaper to make us clean up our drawers! LOL! I have never seen those organizer/divider things you show with your plates in the first drawer - they would be so handy as the dishes wouldn't move forward when you open the drawer! Great tupperware collection/storage too!
ReplyDeleteDD

You've really put a lot into one post! I'm really impressed with your storage of food ... flour, sugar and popcorn. I love the pretty blue dishes too. Thank you for visiting my blog. You get on the "Dean's List" for maintaining a certain grade point average for a semester in college. Every semester you get a fresh start to try again. My son was on the Dean's List just a couple of times during the years (he just graduated as a pharmacist) but the coursework was so difficult, we know how hard it was to keep those grades up. Great post and I'll be back to visit!
ReplyDeleteI loved their version of Gladiatore :)

ReplyDeleteNatasha,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! Love how organized your cabinets are. We redid our kitchen 3 yrs ago, and my cabinets started out organized. I've kept up a few, but more & more stuff find their way there. It's time for a purge again.
I would really love to find a sideboard. A place I could keep table decor & maybe a second set of dishes. I also love your Christmas dishes. I have cobalt blue dishes that I love, but I would really like to get some white ones.
your kitchen is very well thought out. Love the drawers for the spode and silverware best.
ReplyDeleteOkay - you are inspiring me - I thought my cabinets and drawers were organized (they pretty much are) but I see I have some areas I've let slide and you've given me the inspiration to finish them off!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Enjoy working around your very organized and inspirational kitchen (another "Mom Cave" location in the house!)
Linda
