I am sure that I don't have to introduce my next blogging friend to many of you but for those of you who haven't yet met her, may I please introduce to you the very sweet Julie Harward!
I was lucky enough to be the winner of one of her beautiful give aways recently. She is so sweet that has a give away every month! I won this beautiful apron.
Thank you to Maddy for modelling it for me!
Sweet Julie didn't just send this pretty apron all the way to Australia from Utah...She also sent me all of these goodies!
Thank you so much Julie for being so kind and generous. I loved everything!
So without any further ado, let's spend the next 5 minutes with....Julie!
What’s your daily beauty routine?
My daily beauty routine is...go for my 4 mile walk, get home and take a bath in my soaker tub, put my moisturizer on (I mix 1/2 Oil of Olay, night cream and 1/2 Ponds).
Then I put the basic make up on, foundation and blush, mascara. Then I do my hair with my flat iron and I'm done in about 15 minutes.
What type of music do you listen to when you are relaxing?
The music I love to listen to all day is...Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Michael Buble etc. and when I have a lot to do, I turn it to a faster paced music and go to town!
My favorite fragrance is Chanel No 5...I have worn it for years!
What are you reading at the moment?
Every day I read the scriptures in the AM and I am currently reading a book called "The Undaunted" by Gerald Lund about early pioneers.
Which room in your home brings you the most joy?
The room that brings me the most joy is the room in which I need to be at that moment! My bathroom for soaking, my kitchen for creating either sewing or cooking, and my library for blogging, and my great room for cuddling with my honey and watching TV or a movie...while I get a foot rub! ;D
What is your favourite dinner party meal?
Favorite dinner party meal...depends on who I am serving. But my favorite meals are with my family...big pots of soup and chili, pot roast with potatoes and gravy, a fresh veggie, jello salad, rolls....and dessert!
Tea or coffee?
Tea or coffee...sorry but I never drank either of them. Mostly because it is part of the law of the Word of Wisdom that we all live in our Church...The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Maybe it is how I was brought up but I don't even like the smell of coffee...I know, you think I'm crazy! LOL
Favourite holiday photo?
My favorite holiday photo is...our family Christmas cards. We have done them most years, less frequently since the family is more spread out but it's fun! And in my home for Christmas I have a mixture of The Nativity and Santa Claus pictures too.
Describe your blog in one sentence….
My blog in one sentence....It is a mixture of life, me, my family, good things to eat and just sharing with all of you dear sweet friends out there in the world...love you all!
Thank you so much Julie for spending time with me in my little corner of the world Down Under. It has been wonderful getting to know you a little more.
