Today I am so excited to be taking you on a little Home Tour!
My 'Mom Cave' is really our sitting room area. It is a room that is shared by everyone in the family so perhaps it is officially not a room of my own but it is the place where I relax, read, converse, decorate over and over again and just love being in.
Welcome to My Mom Cave!
This is the room that we use for entertaining.....
"...a woman must have money and a room of her own... "
— Virginia Woolf, A Room of One's Own
— Virginia Woolf, A Room of One's Own
We watch TV in here at night too.
I don't often get to choose what to watch but this is one of my favourite shows to watch in my Mom Cave!
I am often re-decorating this room. I love creating little tablescapes and vignettes in my Mom Cave.
I change things around for the seasons and Holidays. Here is my mom cave at Easter.....
And here it is all decorated for Christmas!
I love my Mom Cave!
If you have shared any decorating ideas on your blog recently why not share them at tomorrow's Say G'day Saturday Linky Party!
You can link up old or new posts and they can be about anything and everything! Please be sure to come back on Saturday to join in with this weekend's party and to
see the top 5 posts from last week's link up.

Before I go I just want to thank all the lovely bloggers who host their linky parties each week!
Best wishes until next time,

ReplyDeleteTraci
Lovely photos of such a lovely home! You are right - you don't need a special room to be a mom cave, it can be a common space :) Thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteIt was so lovely having a look around your gorgeous sitting room. The cushions really make the room and it looks beautiful at Christmas. Speaking of which, I must check out your Christmas blog! And of course you can pass on the PNP, spread the joy! Rachaelxx
ReplyDeleteWow-wow!! I LOVE these photos!! How inspring! Mom Cave..it has such a nice 'ring' to it. I have one too..I just call it my 'sewing' room. The only problem with it being officially a 'mom cave' is that it's often filled with large sweaty boys. Ah well...someday! Ha!
ReplyDeleteThey play group computer games (everyone online and working towards the same goals in the same game) with their Dad. He loves my new sewing/office desk from IKEA so much that I'm getting bumped to the livingroom. Hmm.. seems like I need to establish some territorial rights here. Ha!
Your decorating is beautiful! I'd love to have tea with you. :o)

ReplyDeleteNatasha, your Mom Cave looks so inviting. I especially loved it decked out for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful that your "mom cave" is a place that you also welcome your family and friends. That means you are truly decorating and making the space cozy for times other than when you are alone. I really liked seeing how you decorated for Christmas too - so warm and welcoming!
ReplyDeleteDD
Beautiful space with lovely furnishings. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteLove your space!! I love all the light too. And I especially love the rug I see there. Now you have me in the spirit of Christmas with all the pretty Christmas things!!

I just trying to leave a comment and it would not go through for some reason. Anyway, hopefully this one will. I love your cave..it's cozy and I love your seasonal displays on the coffee table. Those books on/about England look so interesting too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this special space with us!
Nancy
So, so pretty! Everywhere you have such lovely vignettes!
ReplyDeleteIt's so feminine, delicate and beautiful. I loved the love birds. I saw some red ones like that at TJ Max that I didn't buy and now that I have more shelf space in my area... I wish I'd bought the birds.
ReplyDeleteThe Mom Cave - what a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI see so many Man Caves in our neighborhood - the decked-out garages (black and white race striped floors, plasma tv for sports, high end tool storage cabinets with worktables and card game tables!) that I'm glad to see we've found a spot for the ladies!
Will have to join the next one!
Best Wishes,
Linda
