But

#TuesdayTune ~ Bebel Gilberto....a Re-Post!

Hello, sweet friends! Thanks so much for dropping in today! I'm so glad you stopped by to visit me in my little corner of the world Down Under!

Today I am reposting a #TuesdayTune post that I originally published on

Sunday, March 14, 2010 and I am linking it to

Sunday Favorites with Chari  at Happy to Design.

I am reposting this for two reasons; the first reason is that not many people saw this post and the second reason is that I have been so busy this week dealing with a flooded house! The whole bottom floor of our house flooded this week and to make matters worse my laptop computer died on Friday! Thank goodness Chari hosts Sunday favourites each week as now I don't feel so guilty about reposting today!

Have you heard Bebel Gilberto?

Her style is a mix of Brazilian, European and electronic pop and I love it! Click here to read about her and to listen to her most recent album All in One.

I hope you enjoy today's Tuesday Tune. It really is So Nice......

If you have ever posted a song on your blog I would love it if you could link up with me today! I love listening to all kinds of music and I absolutely love listening to the music that my blogging friends from all over the world share each Tuesday. Just copy and paste the URL of the blog post, link up and join in the fun!

Thanks so much for visiting and thanks so much to Chari for having me today. I hope to visit you all as soon as I can get my house back into shape!

Best wishes for a great week,

Natasha In Oz

I am so sorry to hear about your flooding disaster and your laptop. Bummer! It is so nice to have great people to help in times of trouble.

This is an old favorite song I used this summer on my blog: Homegrown Tomatoes by Guy Clark.

    Thanks for signing my guestbook!

  8. Natasha! I'm so sorry to hear about your flooded home! Our basement has done that, and it's no fun to clean up. I can't imagine our main floor under water! I hope you can salvage most everything!

  14. So sorry you've had troubles, Natasha! Hope things are much better now.

Love this singer. What a great voice!

I used to have a playlist on my blog, but I don't have it anymore. I love Norah Jones and Eva Cassidy... the latter sings a fabulous version of "Fields of Gold" and "My Love is Like A Red Red Rose." Most likely, you can hear them both on You Tube.

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  15. I hope you got my last post, Natasha. I love Norah Jones and Eva Cassidy. My favorite songs by the later are "My Love Is Like A Red Red Rose" based on Robert Burn's famous poem, and "Fields of Gold." When I used to have playlist on my blog, I had them on there, but you can likely find them on You-Tube.

Hope this helps! I love that singer you featured. Super voice!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  19. Oh, Natasha, so sorry to hear about the flooding. When you said the downstairs did you mean a basement level, or is this your main level - living room, NEW KITCHEN, etc? Which ever, I hope the damage is not extensive.

  23. Well that is just wrong, wrong, wrong that a kitchen as beautiful as that had to get damaged. It is jaw dropping gorgeous, and I love the pink barstools. Thanks so much for visiting me!
