Tuesday Tune - Theme song from Pirates of the Caribbean.

G'Day lovely friends and welcome friends to NatashaInOz.com, my little bloggy home Down Under.
Today's #TuesdayTune has a bit of a Halloween flavour to it, since today is Halloween!

Natasha in Oz, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Tuesday Tune,

I am sure that many of us have seen the Johnny Depp movie Pirates of the Caribbean and as much as I liked the movie, I really loved the soundtrack even more!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest is the soundtrack for the Disney movie of the same title, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. The score was composed by Hans Zimmer.

Hans Zimmer is a German composer and music producer. For nearly three decades he has composed music for over 100 films including:

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest(2006)
The Da Vinci Code(2006)
King Arthur(2004)
The Last Samurai(2003)
The Thin Red Line: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack(1999)
Broken Arrow: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack(1996)
Beyond Rangoon: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack(1995)
Crimson Tide: Music From The Original Motion Picture(1995)
The Power Of One: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack(1992)
Green Card: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack(1991)
Rain Man: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (1989 Soundtrack)(1990)
Driving Miss Daisy: Original Soundtrack(1990)

His works are notable for integrating electronic music sounds with traditional orchestral arrangements. He has won four Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes, a Classical BRIT Award, and an Academy Award. Zimmer also has been ranked Number 72 on the list of the "Top 100 living geniuses", published by The Daily Telegraph.

I hope you enjoy the Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Song!

  1. Hi! I do like the music, but to be honest...I really just like Johnny Depp:) I'm not alone in that I'm sure!

  2. Happy Halloween!

If you get a chance, stop by my blog "Substitute Teacher's Saga" for a Halloween Haunting from 10/28-11/1. There are prizes!

  3. Of course I've seen the movies, but I have to say that I couldn't remember the theme...

It's actually pretty good. (Although, I'm Sue on this one. I think I just like Johnny Depp!)

  4. Hey Natasha! Thanks for your help and suggestions over the past few weeks! "By George, I think she's got it!" (ala Rex Harrison in My Fair Lady)

I love the music to "Pirates..." very much! I thought I'd heard some similar music in other movies (some that you've listed), makes sense with the same person composing all of the pieces. Even tho' I didn't know, I should have (duh - blonde moment LOL!)

Happy Halloween to you and everyone reading this. Now we have to start getting ready for Turkey Day!!!

  5. An epic music indeed, what's Halloween? kidding!

  6. I just love the music and films of Pirates of the Caribbean. Thanks for sharing this song today Natasha. Happy Halloween.

  7. Hi Natasha, I hope you have had a good weekend, the weeks seem to be flying by. Our clocks changed last night so it will get dark an hour earlier this evening! I love the films, the music and Johnny Depp. Off to have a hop around the others now with my coffee.

  8. I've never really managed to "get into" those movies...of course my son loves them! That vintage poster is just really cute, and your pumpkin muffins in your last post look fantastic, oh yum. I'll be doing some baking today I think - if I can find the time... Have a great Sunday, Love from London x

  9. Happy Halloween Natasha!
Thank you for visiting and commenting on my very meager F-post for Alpha-Thursday. I have revised it somewhat and would like to invite you to return when ever you get the time. Since you were the first kind soul to leave a comment, I have given you an extra link.
I loved the pirate movies! Great music. But since I am not posting a song today I am leaving this comment here.
    Best wishes & thanks,
    Anna's Alphabe-Thursday-F: REVISED!!!

  12. Hi girl!
give me some time to come up with something for your Sunday posts!
Love the This Sunday choice by the way1

  13. The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' were fun movies. Johnny Depp is tops in character acting.
The music would be suitable for various types of films. In this particular film the music brings to mind the sails be hoisted and the pirates preparing for new adventure whether it be fair or foul.

  14. I need to play this for my little grandson...he was a pirate all weekend..even today in church! LOL

  15. Boy, I had to catch my breath at the end of that exciting song! I loved the violins and percussion. blessings on your day, k

  16. G'day Natasha ~ What a lovely write/share today.

    Take care dear one,
    Shelia ;)

  20. A day late and a dollar short, I know. . .I love this...this is the "He's A Pirate" theme from the movie--I've played this at several piano engagements--I even had a request for it at a wedding last summer! I included this in an organ recital I did last April!
