Have I told you that I have become a fan of blue birds? I haven't? Well let me introduce you to the the first blue-bird in my life. This is Chester our pet budgie. Isn't he cute?
Welcome to our family Chester!
Chester is such a sweet little bird and he loves being part of the family.
He is very smart too and often helps Big Al with his homework!
But Chester isn't the only blue bird in my life!
I have joined the ranks of other blue-bird watchers out there in blogland....
I am a now a Tweeter on Twitter!
I have been trying to decide between joining Facebook and Twitter for a while now and after hearing quite a few grumblings about Facebook from other bloggers I decided that Tweeting was probably the way to go. I like the idea of constructing short snappy messages and, well, that Blue bird is just so darn cute I couldn't resist!
So if you are a tweeter, chirper or blue-bird watcher too, please tweet me and say hi!
Tweet tweet and best wishes,
Hi again Natasha!
ReplyDeleteReally...Twitter is easier than facebook? That is music to my ears because I really don't understand facebook and don't have the time to do so! maybe I will tweet you sooner than I thought a minute ago at your Christmas blog!!
Chester is so cute...I just love the picture of him on your daughters shoulder! I love birds but have never had one in the house. Humm...don't think now is the time to start with my new little kitty running around! Please share Chester with as as often as you can!
This was a fun five minutes! Thanks and many blessings!
Ann
Hello Natasha,
ReplyDeleteyour pet budgie Chester is very cute and he looks very intelligent. We saw wild living budgies in Alice Springs. Was really exiting.
Greetings, Johanna
Chester is such a handsome fid (fid= feather-kid). The do bring such happiness to our lives with talking, love and such devotion. He seems to have settled in and loves his new family.
ReplyDeleteWe have 2 conures, each day is wonderful and so full of noise, always playtime with them. I know you will have a super fun life with Chester.
What a lovely birdie !! nice nice !! tweet tweet.....love Ria...
ReplyDeleteawww..what a sweetie...gorgeous little soul! .I used to have a blue one too..he'd run along the piano keys as Id play..and even chew on my homework ha ha! beautiful post!
ReplyDeleteChester is adorable!
ReplyDeleteNatasha, I'm not a Tweeter, but I do enjoy stopping by your blog. Your little Chester reminds me of the blue bird that was part of our family when I was a child. We had him for at least 15 years. Perhaps longer!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Sarah
Natasha, I've never seen a blue bird so ... is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI like Chester, congratulations on the new family member!
What a sweet little blue budgerigar (don't think I've spelt that correctly!); I've been on facebook for quite a while now, and I love it!
ReplyDeleteChester is just the cutest! I had a parakeet for about 10 years and he was a sweetie, too! Give him lots of love!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Nice to see you on Twitter!
ReplyDeleteNatasha, he is a cutie. My dog would love a few birds in the house, but not as a friend. :P
ReplyDeleteI love your new pet bird, he's gorgeous! I want one! Rachaelxx
ReplyDeleteChester has beautiful feathers.
ReplyDeleteI'm on facebook so don't tweet. I don't know much about tweeting and facebook is enough for me..
Let us know how it goes after a while of doing it.
Natasha..I just love your parakeet! He's so sweet! Our's is yellow and green and his name is Davy Jones. He's my son's bird. He sometimes drives us crazy with his love of mimicry..especially when he mimics the pager! We have a separate office so we have a paging system set up. That bird sounds JUST LIKE the phone ringing..only a little softer. We are always saying, "Would someone please answer the bird!" He mimics outdoor birds beautifully from having listened to them all for so long.
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet photos of your children with our pet!
xo

PS. I had already started facebook months ago, but have only recently figured out how to use it..a bit. It IS complicated!
ReplyDeleteHi Natasha. I know nothing about twitter, and I feel a bit out of the loop. But I will give it try now that I know someone to follow.

Chester is adorable! We used to have a blue parakeet-must be related to the budgie family.
ReplyDeleteJoined SS late this week, but always enjoy the music you share. Great lyrics on this week's pick, but who is the singer?
Hi Karen, I don't know who the singer is. I wasn't able to find any info on the websites I looked at. She has a great voice though doesn't she!
ReplyDeleteNatasha.
Oh, my dear, how ever do you get anything done?...I would be singing and chirping and chit chatting all day long to that Beautiful Blue Boy...He is just lovely...still smilin'...rosie
ReplyDeleteHey Natasha.....thanks for commenting on my blog..... I liked the blue bird (who helps with his homework) a lot...I wish I had one when I was a kid too... :) About the other blue bird....I have been in two minds about joining Twitter....I think I'll just take the plunge... :)
ReplyDeleteChester is just lovely...great photos! I'm currently on face book as most of my friends and family do that rather than twitter...I'm your latest follower, I'll keep up with you that way!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit, have a great weekend!
xoxo

I tweet but only to promote my blogging activities, although personally I think one needs both FB and Twitter for networking as they are very different. FB is where I meet up with family and friends. Have a good weekend and hope to see you on Twitter.
ReplyDeleteChester is so cute!! Great pictures of him!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling post. I had a little blue buddgie when I was a young girl. He lived for many many many years!!!! I just loved him.
ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing back such lovely memories!
Yvonne
Chester is gorgeous. Congrats on your tweeting debut; it's still something I need to get my head around!
ReplyDeleteI loved your new baby! When I lived in Brazil we used to have lots of those birds!
ReplyDeleteI had a pet parakeet when I was going up. I loved my Mario so much!! He would build little nests in my hair and sit on my shoulder all the time. My son is dying for a bird so much that I'm not sure I could bear to show him your adorable photos (my husband holds the pet veto power). Congratulations on your new feathered friend! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteXO Laura
Oh, how adorable! Love this, Natasha!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)
I love that he helps with homework. He looks like a wonderful pet.
