The skies are blue and there are signs of Christmas everywhere...just look at all of the red and green!
Not only do I have all of these gorgeous plants, flowers and gardens to see when I go on my walks but I also love looking at all of the beautiful homes!
No wonder it takes me more than one hour to go on a walk that usually only takes 30 minutes!
I am also so happy because my hydrangeas are blooming and they look so pretty.
I just love November in Australia!
So, if I'm not around as much as usual, I hope you will understand.....
You know where I'll be!

lovely pictures! I love the red flower, we call it gumamela in the Philippines, I forgot the name of it.
have a nice day!
It is hard to grasp my head around November being a warm month. I've never experienced that. Maybe I should live in the Northern Hemisphere during our summers and the southern Hemisphere during yours!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful outdoor photos! I'd find it hard to sit still looking at all that too!
ReplyDeleteIt's one of those things my mind just cannot wrap around...cold winter her and beautiful summer there! I asked a man from California how he could feel the Christmas spirit there with no snow, and he said; "Well Jesus was born where there were palm trees!" Very true. Have a good Thanksgiving :D
ReplyDeleteHello Natasha,
ReplyDeletecoming fromcold Germany I enjoyed my visit in your blooming and warm summer in Australia. Unbelievable that you have nice weather. For me it feels as if everybody got this cold. Enjoy the summer.
Greetings, Johanna
What a beautiful walk you take...the flowers are just gorgeous. I cut the last of my roses a few minutes ago, so the frost won't get them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for warming up my world!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous! Beautiful and warm I can see!!! :O)
ReplyDeleteOh Natasha lovely photos - I envy you all those tropical red flowers you get up there. Nothing like that here at the moment although everything is very green from the rain. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Natasha! It's so odd reading about how your summer is gearing up. :o) I LOVE all of your gorgeous photos! So many of those flowers are also native to Florida (where we used to live) and some grow here in Southeast Texas. We are close enough to the ocean to be able to grow tropical plants. The bottle brush was my favorite plant when we lived in Vero Beach. It's so nice to think that all winter, I can 'catch some rays' here at your place. :O)
ReplyDeleteMy husband brought home two gorgeous books from New Zealand and Australia which we love very much. We were a hair away from getting bought out by another company and could have easily ended up being your neighbors.
Thanks so much for sharing your neighborhood flora and the houses. We are just getting to the 'longer walks' time ourselves. It's been way too hot up until now and finally..It is cooling down in South Texas. Our leaves are just now falling and I'm wanting to take lots of photos too.
Thanks for dropping by and for the sweet comments.
xo

Oh I love summer! It is getting cold here...thanks for sharing your beautiful photo's to remind me of warmer days!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a beautiful route for your walks! Enjoy!!
Bonjour Natasha, it seems like you're having a great week then. It is so weird to look at Spring when it's so cold, wet and dark here, I guess that's how you must feel when we go on about Spring/Summer here then...funny :-) Love from London xo
ReplyDeleteWhat are the gorgeous red /tree looking blooms in the 4th and 5th pictures? They are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteSeems so strange to hear you speak of spring and then say it looks like Christmas!! lol Here it's grey skies and snowflakes! ;)
A lovely area to walk in. What I like most about your neighborhood is that the homes are not all alike. Quite a variety. You have a lovely, soothing focal point in your back yard.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers and houses. happy summer
ReplyDeleteIf I lived there and could see all these beautiful things, I would probably walk myself to death. Absolutely gorgeous sights. Wish I could join each day for a walk.

Very beautiful garden! I love your flowers.Especialy ibiscus. I have one outside my front door too!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! I am so jealous! I love when the weather starts to get warmer after winter! We have 5 more months til that! I would love to skip winter all together!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the brief escape to a warmer climate - it's cold and rainy here. The lush green grass and colorful flowers are lovely, too. Your neighborhood looks similar to one close to where I live. How funny - we live on opposite ends of the world, yet there are so many similarities. :)
ReplyDeleteThat was so cool. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHi, Natasha, your surrounding neighborhood is beautiful and quaint.
ReplyDeleteI see familiar blooms that we grow in Southern California: the coral tree, jacaranda, bottlebrush and a lot more.
Thanks for tugging us along to your morning walks.
Thanks for that- seeing all those colors makes me smile. Where I live I sometimes miss the sunny days so looking at your pics makes me happy!
ReplyDeleteDanielle
Hi Natasha! Thank you soooo much for the wonderful peek into your beautiful world over there in Aussie land! I've never been there - always wanted to visit there - and your photos help me see just a little bit more of it. I envy that summer is upon you now as we enter the cold, dark days of winter here in Michigan. So thank you for those pretty photos that warmed my heart!

You are absolutely right...your walk was filled with the beautiful reds and greens of Christmas...fabulous!!! Thank you for taking us along with you on your walk!
Warmest wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design
As the fire crackles, the leaves fall and I'm contemplating digging out Christmas decorations, I loved reading your post. I love those red flowers.. thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh, what torture, when I have to leave the sun and ocean here in Cabo and go back to snow and cold in Utah tomorrow. Everything is so gorgeous, love all of the flowers and garden but I also love the beautiful homes. Thanks for the inspiring tour.
ReplyDeleteOh, Natasha, thank you for posting the lovely pics of the blooming flowers near your home! This Oregon girl really needed a dose of color, quite a change from our normally grey skies. Our sun has dipped way south to visit you, too. Love the fuschia color of your blog, too. blessings on your week, dear girl.
ReplyDeleteOh Natasha, such glorious red and green! Thanks so much for being a part of Seasonal Sundays! .

Hi Natashe,
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have a lot of beautiful things to look at on your walk around the neighbourhood.
With all the red & green on view, it's all looking very festive.

Hi Natasha,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for linking up. Your photos are so beautiful and make me feel all summery!! I guess you probably are feeling pretty summery still over there...but we have rain drizzling down our windows today. Ughhhh....so this is just what the doctor ordered!
Sarahx
Loving this! The blooms are so exquisite and vibrant. Did I see a bottlebrush tree? We used to have one at our home where I was a child in California.
