This week's Tuesday Tune post has a very French feel to it! As you might have seen already we are heading to Paris this Christmas so I have had all things French on my mind.
And I have also shared my favourite French fashions inspired by the beautiful Audrey Tautou from the French movie Amelie.
So it's only fitting that this week's Tuesday Tunes come from Amelie and another gorgeous Parisian movie, Midnight in Paris.
S'il vous plaît profiter de cette musique Française!
Here are some stills from Amelie set to the amazing soundtrack composed by Yann Tiersen.
This is a gorgeous clip of the changing beauty of Paris set to American jazz saxophonist, clarinetist, and composer Sidney Bechet's piece Si tu vois ma mère.
This piece is composed by Stephane Wrembel for the movie Midnight in Paris directed by Woody Allen 2011.
I hope you enjoyed this musical tour of Paris!
Thanks so very much for joining in!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me in my little corner of the world Down Under today. Have a wonderful week!
Best wishes,
I completely appreciate this. I have no immediate plans to go to Paris or just France for that matter, but I have been dreaming of it a lot lately. Amelie is one of my all-time favorite movies and La Mer has been on repeat on my iPod.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you that you are going to Paris at Christmas! So exciting. I love the music and scenes from Midnight in Paris. I can almost name all the locations and they excite me every time I view them. I can't describe the thrill I felt there. It intrigued me, excited me and compelled me to return again and again. Three times and I want to go again.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your pictures and hear about your trip when you return.
Natasha, you have me smiling and dreaming of my favorite city. How exciting to have this trip to anticipate.
ReplyDeleteChristmas in Paris...sounds like the title of a movie, how lovely it will be. Christmas at Disney (what we do) just doesn't have the same ring to it. Love the photos and the music!
ReplyDeleteyay, wonderful compilation of all fabulous things Paris!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun link party...I regularly include music in my posts - enjoy ;-)
