Tuesday Tune ~ The Piano Guys

Welcome friends to this week's Tuesday Tune post! I'm so glad you stopped by to hear my favourite song of the week.

This week I am featuring a cover song that was performed by The Piano Guys, an American music duo consisting of Jon Schmidt and Steven Sharp Nelson. They became famous by posting videos of renditions and mashes of popular songs accompanied by professional-looking video clips on YouTube.

Tuesday Tune ~ The Piano Guys

The Piano Guys started out as a piano store in the small town of St. George, Utah. One day while Paul was selling pianos, Jon Schmidt walked in and asked if he could use a piano to practice before a concert. Paul was blown away by his talent and they began to create music videos together. At first the videos were very basic, but as time went on we created more and more involved productions. After we filmed a few videos with Jon, he introduced us to Steven Sharp Nelson, a cellist who was beyond anything we had ever seen. Jon and Steve had been performing together for several years, and we could see that together we'd all make a great team.

The rest is history in the making.

I hope you enjoy this African style cover of Coldplay's song Paradise from the Piano Guys!

  6. Hi Natash, how wonderful you are planning a trip to Paris in December. We are playing with the idea of a return visit this fall too. I love to visit in December. All the homes and shops display little white flocked fur trees and it is even more magical! Love this music, I have not heard this group before so thanks for sharing it.
