I have had another crazy week at home and at work but I have not been the only busy bee in our household! Big Al sang in the choir and performed the Double Bass at his school's concert last night. It was such a wonderful concert-I'm very proud of him!
Maddy has also been busy rehearsing for her school's annual showcase concert tonight. She will be singing in two choirs and performing in the string ensemble. It is always a wonderful evening and this year I am part of the school's Music Support Group so I have been heavily involved in the organisation of this event.
Maddy has also been busy with her school work and she has also been busy setting up a new website! This girl is so focussed and driven!
This new site is very important to Maddy and I think once you read about it you might see why she was so compelled to start it. So, without any further I would like to introduce a very special guest blogger, my sweet daughter Maddy!
Hi, my name is Maddy.
I recently created Determined to Cure after two close family friends, Sue and Ann Maree (Ann Maree is one of my best friend's mother), passed away from breast cancer. I decided that I wanted to make a difference by raising awareness about cancer and cancer research and equipping people with the knowledge and power to take action to reduce their risk of developing cancer. I also aim to advise people on how they can support people around them, and the families of those people, who are suffering from this awful disease.

I am determined to cure the incurable and determined to help find a cure for cancer. I would love it if you could please support Determined to Cure by following my website and Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and Pinterest accounts, where I will post frequent updates and share ways that we can help cure cancer.
I would really appreciate your help and support!
Thank you for having me as your guest, Mum!
I hope you might be able to support Maddy in her quest to help find a cure for this terrible disease. I really admire her determination and am so proud of her!
