It's seems like it's been months since I've posted something...oh dear...it really has been months. I really can't believe I haven't posted anything since September...time sure does fly by when you are having fun!
I think the timing of my break from blogging really was perfect. I really needed to take a break so I could focus on my family and all the other things that come with being a wife, mother, teacher, daughter, sister, friend...You've all been there and done that so I know you get it! Anyway, after a few hours pinning away on Pinterest the other day I had my 'Aha' moment and realized I desperately missed my blog! I realized I was desperate to get back in touch with all the beautiful bloggers who I have missed so much these last few months. I realized I was ready to Say G'day again!
So, thank you so much for sticking with me, for checking in on me and for the kind messages of friendship and support I received whilst I had my break. Many of you saw that I was doing a bit of micro-blogging while on my bloggy break over at my Tumblr blog, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter so thank you to those sweet folks who joined me there!
2013 has been a brilliant year for me so far and I can't wait to share all of my news with you.
So, what have I been up to? Well, 2012 was an unbelievably busy year, from start to finish! By the time the school year had finished our whole family was totally exhausted with the most important event for our little family happening in December when Maddy turned 16!
It really was a great year!
Well, I sure do hope you are enjoying 2013 so far. I have been as busy as ever and have accepted another teaching contract but this time it's only for the term and I'm only teaching two subjects! I have really enjoyed myself so far and feel that my work/life/family balance is all under control.
All being well I am hoping to start up my Say G'day Saturday linky party again so if you would like to join in again in 2013 I would be so thrilled to welcome you!
Well, I think that's about it for now. I look forward to catching up with you all over the next few weeks.

Whee! I am glad you are back, Natasha. I have enjoyed your pics on Instagram--I would show them to my husband and tell him where you were now. We would love to go to England once our lovely government could straighten out this sequestration nonsense and we would have more of an idea of whether he is going to be furloughed or what not. >:|

What a wonderful vacation you have had. Wow. Something your kids will always remember. It is hard to keep up with blogging when life is so full of things that need doing. By the time I get home from work there is little time left for blogging or even doing anything interesting enough to blog about.

Love all your photos today, and your daughter is such a beautiful looking 16 year old! By the way, those cakes look absolutely scrummy. Yum!
