Today's Tuesday Tune post is a little different to the usual post because I am not actually featuring a particular song, but some music that accompanies a brilliant video called 25 Ways to Wear a Scarf in 4.5 Minutes!
I have scarves on my mind at the moment because here in Brisbane, it is winter and in winter it doesn't really get very cold so we don't tend to wear big heavy coats and lots of heavy layers. Instead, we tend to wear essentials like long pants or jeans and accessorize with boots, jackets, ponchos and lots of scarves!
Me in my grey Winter scarf on a sunny Winter's morning!
My favourite accessory every winter is a scarf or a poncho because they always fit, they can be as expensive or inexpensive as your budget allows and they come in so many different patterns, shapes and colours.
Scarves aren't only worn in Winter, though, no sirree, they can be worn in Summer too!

I have a poncho that lives on my desk chair at school. It's perfect for supervision on cold days and cozying up while marking.
ReplyDeleteNatasha, I have a closet full of scarves yet continue to buy more. They are addictive. Ha! Actually many of my scarves were gifts from my husband. He used to put one in my stocking every year at Christmas. I've always loved to accessorize with a beautiful scarf or shawl. Shawls are also perfect travel companions on long overseas flights. They are much more comfy than a scratchy blanket you get on the planes. Loved the video!
ReplyDeleteI am always so intimidated by scarves. I just need to get over it, you provided enough super cute reasons why I should!

I love scarves and have see this video before. Isn't it amazing! They are one of my favorite accessories. I wear them more often than anything!
ReplyDeleteOh I love scarves. But I find I don't use them nearly as much as I should. I love the video and will come back again to watch it. I really like the photographs of the people wearing the head scarves, but I have trouble getting mine to stay put. Any ideas how I can get them to stay put would be appreciated.

Oh my dear, I LOVE that scarf from Elf Sacks. I immediately emailed my favorite makeup artist, Kandee Johnson, and asked her to do a tutorial on how to tie it. I hope she does!
