I'm so happy you have stopped by to say g'day. How was your week? I have had a very busy week; I'm so blessed to be able to do substitute teaching and even more blessed that it's at my daughter's school. I'm not sure how she feels about it though!

 This week I was reminded to never take my 14 yr old son shopping with me when he is hungry (which is ALL the time)! Thankfully this was the only junk food he added to the shopping cart!

Tuesday Tune Linky Party ~ TV Tunes and Themes.

Welcome friends to this week's Tuesday Tune post.

I have a confession to make...please don't hold it against me...I can't stand the Game of Thrones series on TV! I know I must be only person in the world who hates it but I just can't get into it all. I've tried watching it, reading the book, my sisters have tried teaching me about it but I just don't like it!

I do, however, LOVE one thing about the series and that is the music! The soundtrack is great and I especially love the main theme composed by Ramin Djawadi.

Like so many shows on TV, the theme song is an integral part of the viewing experience and we very quickly associate TV shows with their theme.

So that got me thinking about TV themes and led me to assemble a playlist of some of my favourite TV theme songs. I've included the themes from Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Twin Peaks, Doctor Who and others.

Say G'Day Saturday Linky Party {87} ~ Making a 'Contact Me' Button for Your Blog Tutorial

G'day lovely friends! Welcome to this week's Say G'Day Saturday Linky party!

I hope you have had a great week. I've been trying to work on getting my blog back into shape again this week (and over these couple of months!) and even though it has been very time-consuming I have learnt so many things about blogging, HTML, SEO, reaching readers, Google+, Facebook and photo editing. Today I thought I would share another fun thing I have learned which is how I made my new 'Contact Me' Button that you can see over there in my sidebar.

I made a contact me button after redesigning and adding some new social media icons. I wanted everything to look ordered so I have used an even number of icons (8) but that meant that one had to go as I had 9! So, I decided to make a button exclusively for email. Now, I am not an expert AT ALL in this kind of thing but this button actually works for me so I thought I might as well share the code to see if others might find it useful.

Tuesday Tune Musical Linky Party ~ In the Garden

G'Day lovely friends and welcome to this week's Tuesday Tune post!

I hope your week has started well. I have had a wonderful start to the week after enjoying a productive and enjoyable weekend with Mr Attorney. Our kids were away on a camp so we were very lucky and the whole weekend to ourselves! naturally we slept in and relaxed but we also spent some time together in the garden. We planted daisies, begonias and petunias and hubby even made me a little herb garden on our deck. Let's hope they all survive the coming cooler temps.

Since I'm in a gardening kind of mood I thought this week's Tuesday Tunes would be all about getting into the garden and enjoying the Great Outdoors!
