G'Day from Oz sweet friends. Welcome to the weekly Say G'day Linky Party, the last one for November!

Say G'Day Saturday @ Natasha in Oz

I hope you have had a wonderful week and if you celebrated Thanksgiving I hope that your day was beautiful.  We had a small Thanksgiving dinner at our place and I was so excited to have found a bottle of Californian wine to have with our roast turkey!

It's also been another memorable week for our family and for +Madeleine Moore as she prepared for a service trip to India to volunteer at Amar Seva Sangam, a centre for disabled people. We waved goodbye to her this morning and we are so proud of all the amazing things she has accomplished.

Bon Voyage Madeleine!

G'day from Oz lovely friends and thank you for joining me for another

Well, after a very busy day, a long week and an even longer 12 years my darling Madeleine has finally graduated from secondary school! She has worked so hard and we are so proud of every single thing has done in her life.

She is going to have a break for a couple of months and then she will be leaving us in February to attend the Australian National University where she has received a scholarship to study Law and International Relations. I'm going to miss her SOOOOO much but know that she is going to be SOOOOO happy studying something she is so passionate about.

Well done +Madeleine Moore We are very very proud of you!

I hope I'm forgiven for not posting my Friday Favorites this week! I did share some fun posts on making tea cup candles and making our homes smell like Christmas during the week so please check them out if you have a minute.

You can imagine then, how excited I was when +Hometalk contacted me and asked me to curate a board full of wonderful ideas on how to make our homes smell like the Holidays! I'm sure you are all very familiar with Hometalk but in case you aren't it is a fabulous home and garden site for bloggers, professionals, and non professionals to post, share and comment on home projects. It’s free to use and the team at Hometalk are very good at sharing content via their social media channels, something I'm really impressed with.

Tea Time with Natasha in Oz: Tea Cup Candles

G'day lovely friend. Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have time for a cuppa with me today!

One of my favorite places to sit down with a relaxing cup of tea in our house is our study or den area. This room houses books, one of our two computers, family photos and most importantly, a big brown leather club chair and ottoman. This room also houses one of our greenest, niftiest and thriftiest tables. The little side table used to belong to Mr Attorney's grandparents. It is made of silky oak and in its first life it was actually a cutlery box.

First of all, I'd like to thank my friend and fellow co-host of our Say G'day Weekly Party Natasha from Natasha in Oz. This is a wonderful opportunity and one I am “humbled and gracious” to do! How Natasha and I met, can only be described as "food fate!" I immediately loved Natasha's blogging philosophy as her blog is about "creating a relaxed home full of love, music, comfort, grace, good food, and beauty." I love how Natasha "embraces family and friends" and makes them "feel special and loved when they visit." My name is Joanne aka Joanna aka mickeydownunder aka FANG and I am American born and bred (New York), now an Aussie who calls Australia home since 1997. As a PASSIONATE Home Cook, I try and “inspire” people one recipe and one event at a time! My food blog is called What’s On The List?

Say G'Day Linky Party {112} ~ Share YOUR Latest & Greatest Blog Posts This Weekend!

G'Day from Oz lovely friends and welcome to the Say G'day Saturday Linky Party.

Say G'Day Saturday @ Natasha in Oz

Well, another week has passed and I am nowhere near ready to be hosting this week's party...how do the days pass by so quickly?

This week I have been working, helping Madeleine prepare for he final piece of assessment for English and her last exams as a grade 12 student, I've been helping Alastair prepare for assessment and get him ready for school camp on Monday, I've attended a cooking class, taught, graded papers, suffered from the worst sinus infection due to my Spring allergies, helped to take down and deport (via social media) a sexist pick-up artist who preaches about violence against women (you can read more about it here...watch it if he is coming to a city near you!) and tonight I am seeing a play that my sister and her husband have directed for their school's student/teacher based theatre company.

Thank goodness I've had some fun and laughter provided throughout the week by my lovely friends on Social Media. Here are a few of the things that popped up my Facebook feed this week that made me smile this week:
