G'day from Oz lovely friends and welcome to this weekend's Sundays Down Under Linky Party. I'm so thrilled you have been able to spend some time down under this Sunday!

So, this week I got myself organised and finally signed up to Periscope, Twitter's New Live Video Streaming App.

Live streaming at Periscope. Find me @natashainozblog

I have heard lots of things about it, some good some bad, but since I'm such a social media nut I thought I'd better get it!

Periscope was co founded by Kayvon Beykpour and Joe Bernstein and their vision was for the product to be a way of discovering the world through someone else’s eyes. The co-founders stated, "It may sound crazy, but we wanted to build the closest thing to teleportation."

Periscope can be found via the iTunes app store and it also is also available as an android app.

So what can you do with Periscope?

Some have called it consensual voyeurism while others believe it to be the most innovative and engaging platforms they have ever used.

Starting a broadcast takes no time at all

Periscope is still a pretty new form of social media so it is evolving, people are still learning about it and many others are just trying to work out how it can used for their personal or corporate brand. The other thing I like about it is that you can use IFTTT to share your broadcast to more networks than just Twitter. To learn more about integrating Periscope (or many other social media accounts!) to IFFT check out this post from Dustin Stout.

If you are already a Periscope use please let me know in the comments so I can find you and follow! If you would like to follow me I am Natasha in Oz

I think now is the perfect time to try it and learn from others. You never know it could end up being the best promotional tool for your blog!

This week I have also been busy reading your fabulous blog posts and sharing some of them on my Flipboard magazine. The June/July issue of Sundays Down Under is full of great recipes, blogging tips and fabulous projects. This week I am featuring the following bloggers:
